Mark is a highly skilled negotiator with extensive commercial experience in the FMCG sector. His experience ranges from leading large commercial teams to managing projects that have delivered transformational results.
Mark worked in senior roles at NatWest, Swiss Bank Corporation, Mars and Diageo before co-founding TNG in 2010. A qualified coach from Henley Management College, Mark is a Licensed Practitioner of Insights and NLP.

Mark honed his negotiation experience in a number of senior financial and commercial roles, including at board level. He has worked internationally in both B2C and B2B environments, successfully adding value to complex negotiations by combining operational and strategic modes of thinking. Mark enjoyed a successful corporate career prior to co-founding TNG, working across the FMCG, licensing, finance and marketing industries at PWC, Diageo, Disney and Catalina Marketing.

He’s not afraid to challenge our client’s perspectives, supporting thought-provoking work that ensures businesses are thorough in their negotiation preparation. As a qualified Chartered accountant, Mark has a highly commercial outlook on negotiation.
Mark has driven millions of pounds worth of cost savings and margin increases for FMCG clients, including creating an additional market share and incremental margin worth AUS$15m for one business by overseeing their distribution agreements.

Bernhard has worked as a practitioner and consultant in the consumer goods category for close to 25 years. He joined TNG following his departure from Kantar Consulting after 15 years. His roles there included Managing Partner for the North Asia division and, later, Senior Partner heading up Digital Commerce and Revenue Growth Management for Europe. Prior to this, he spent nine years at Procter & Gamble.
A true global expert, Bernhard has consulted in over 50 countries and has a wealth of international experience, including category, capability and organisation, digital commerce, route to market and RGM expertise.
