For more than 23 years, Ethan has conducted research projects with manufacturers, retailers and investors, in more than 25 countries on five continents.
Prior to working with TNG, Ethan founded Shirland Ventures Limited, a London-based research and strategy consultancy, dedicated to defining and activating profitable distribution growth opportunities for its clients (retailers, manufacturers and investors).
In addition to project work, Shirland Ventures Limited also invests in promising start-ups in the FMCG and retail markets. As part of these investments, Ethan has been both a Non-Executive Director and Board member of different, award winning start-ups in Asia and Europe.
Ethan previously served as the Research Director for the Coca-Cola Retailing Research Councils in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
